Wine Region: Neusiedlersee, Burgenland

Micro climate: Pannonic: hot, dry summers, cold winters. The lake „Neusiedlersee“ gives our region this special microclimate.

Vineyard: Haide, Pahlen and Schmalergrund

Soil: clay, gravel, sandy

The Zweigelt grows on three types of soil. So we take the best grapes from each vineyard and put them together. So the wine gets more multi-layered.

Vinification: Unfiltered. Harvested by hand, destemmed, unadorned, not pressed (but rather produced without pressure), fermented on the mash, spontaneous fermentation, no Yeast added, maturation on the fine yeast in big barrels (2500 l) for 12 months.

Alcohol: 12,1 %vol

Acidity: 5,6 g/l

Total sulphur dioxide 31 mg/l

Residual sugars: 1 g/l
